Summary
Awarded oversight of new capital/upgrade projects, site contractors, and equipment vendors. Record all site activities from mobilization to Certificate of Occupancy (COO) issuance. Manage the owner's final punch list and building/site performance testing. Track vendor and building materials movement. Attend and document all construction project meetings.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Represent multiple projects simultaneously, witness and record all on-site activities, and understand construction schedules.
- Follow monthly field pay progress estimates for contractors/vendors and witness and record job site progress.
- Track construction budgets by monitoring capital and operating information, identifying variances, and managing project expenses.
- Prepare and maintain daily construction site information reports, coordinate change orders, and estimate costs.
- Proactively identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.
- Attend and document regular construction site and safety meetings with key stakeholders.
- Check daily security and safety conditions of the project buildings and property, immediately reporting any abnormalities.
- Ensure contractors' cleanliness, material, and equipment storage are maintained, reporting any issues promptly.
- Perform daily safety checks at each location, knowing all fire safety equipment locations and shut-off procedures.
- Have contact information for local fire and life safety responders and utility providers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry on project sites.
- High School Diploma required; degree and/or certifications in business, construction management, or engineering preferred.
- Valid driver's license.
- Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Project, and Word.

- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound construction judgment and strong reporting skills.
- Ability to problem-solve by gathering and analyzing information.
- Working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as local regulatory body standards.
- Knowledge of jobsite safety practices required.
Physical Demands
- Frequent talking and hearing.
- Regular sitting, standing, using hands for fine motor tasks, handling objects, and reaching.
- Moderate lifting and moving up to 40 pounds.
- Close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Remote work with frequent need to travel to corporate facilities and assigned construction sites.
- Weekly overnight stays and daily presentations at assigned construction sites.
- Construction work environment with exposure to viruses, disease, and/or infection from clients.
- Exposure to traumatic situations (i.e., psychiatric).
