Construction Project Manager - Power Delivery
About the role
HDR is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join its Power Construction Professionals team in the Southwest region. The ideal candidate will manage and coordinate construction-related support activities for multi-discipline power design projects.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key client contact to build and maintain client relationships with both internal and external clients, including proposal development and opportunity tracking.
- Oversee contract and MSA negotiations, recruit project resources, and approve invoices and budgets for multiple projects simultaneously.
- Manage and coordinate staffing levels, field resources, and external resources to achieve project goals on larger projects involving multiple services and personnel.
- Lead or support business development efforts, develop and maintain annual goals, and assist or lead projects as a client lead or project manager.
- Develop and lead the Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) process on a project-specific basis and maintain project document control.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specific experience providing construction services support for Power Delivery, Hydro, Generation, and Renewables projects.
- Relevant industry certifications such as PMP, PE, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, and project management software.
- The ability to interact with various design teams, possess excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills (both written and verbal).

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position depends on skills, experience, education, and geographical location. For example, in Las Vegas, NV, the range is $124,950.00 - $178,500.00.
