What You'll Do as the Construction Project Manager

  • Manage hospitality development and renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Cookinate architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, municipalities, lenders, and project stakeholders
  • Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution efforts
  • Support entitlement, permitting, and regulatory approval processes
  • Develop and administer bid packages, RFQs, and RFPs
  • Review construction documents and identify opportunities for scope optimization and value engineering
  • Assist with contractor procurement, contract negotiations, and vendor selection
  • Maintain project schedules and proactively address delays or schedule impacts
  • Ensure project delivery aligns with ownership objectives, quality standards, and contractual requirements
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and lessons learned reviews

Must-Haves as the Construction Project Manager

  • 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Experience managing projects through preconstruction and construction phases
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and contract administration
  • Experience coordinating multiple project stakeholders and consultants
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of CPM scheduling principles
  • Ability to travel throughout Southern California for project site visits

Nice-to-Haves as the Construction Project Manager

  • Hospitality construction experience
  • Experience serving in an owner's representative, development, or ownership-side role
  • Ground-up construction experience
  • Hotel renovation or repositioning project experience
  • Experience using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • Experience with Primavera P6
  • Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms
