We are looking for a passionate and client-focused Construction Project Manager for the modernization of a Land Port of Entry (LPOE) project in Douglas, Arizona. This position will require relocation to Douglas, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.
  • Prepare written reports, correspondence, and brief clients and management personnel.
  • Understand the fundamentals of current construction contract law and interpret construction contract drawings and Specifications and FAR/GSAR clauses.
  • Manage and monitor large building construction projects using CPM schedules and Kahua.
  • Conduct inspections to resolve problems on construction projects and brief Government personnel.
  • Manage construction project budgets, materials, and methods, and ensure compliance with industry design standards.
  • Ensure the Gateway LPOE Project meets LEED Gold and SITES certification requirements.
  • Respond to all communication from the GSA project team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, business management, or Architecture, or 10 years of management experience in the construction management field.
  • Minimum 10 years of construction management experience.
  • Experience managing large-scale governmental, institutional, or commercial construction projects with construction costs exceeding $200 million.
  • Strong working knowledge of building systems/components, contract management, project delivery methods, and team building.
  • Experience in GSA projects is highly desirable.
  • US Citizenship required.

Qualifications

  • Experience conducting inspections and briefing government personnel.
  • Knowledge of construction practices, materials, and installation methods.
  • Experience in LEED and SITES certification requirements.
  • Ability to respond to communication from the GSA project team.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $180,000.00. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
