About the role

AECOM is seeking a highly qualified resilient Construction Project Manager to provide embedded on-site PM/CM support for a Federal modernization construction project.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Owner’s interests by leading the integrated collaborative team.
• Developing and controlling budgets and funding strategies.
• Scheduling and coordinating project interactions among existing and occupied facilities.
• Managing interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting labor categories.
• Integrating competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes.
• Providing oversight and technical quality review of the I/QAM work.
• Expertly coordinating the observation and conformance verification of the construction work.
• Supporting and/or managing complex projects as a Construction Project Manager.
• Performing and supporting the successful completion of similar projects in comparable environments and conditions.

Requirements

• BA/BS + 6 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Valid US Drivers License.
• Professional Engineering Certification, License or Architectural Registration a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• At least fifteen (15) years of experience in developing and maintaining complex, long-term, multi-year project management activities.
• Proven Experience performing and supporting the successful completion of similar projects in comparable environments and conditions.
• Federal (or state/municipal) governmental experience.
• Land Port of Entry (LPOE), Air Port of entry, embassy / military base or federal secure compound / facility experience.
• Remote, off-grid, limited access site locations, arctic / sub-arctic, extreme environment experience.
• Experience supporting and/or managing complex projects as a Construction Project Manager.
