About the role
This internship is for Summer 2027. As a Construction Project Manager Intern, you will gain hands‑on opportunities to turn classroom lessons into real‑life skills in the construction industry. Throughout the internship you will be exposed to all aspects of a project, start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Pre‑Job Estimating
- Job Setup
- Job contracts
- Permits and insurance certificates
- During Construction Safety
- Purchasing
- Submittals
- Tracking materials & equipment
- Productivity tracking
- Change orders and tracking
- RFIs
- Job Closeout
- Project closeout O&M manuals
- As‑recorded drawings and warranties
Requirements
- Must be a current student working toward a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in the construction industry and project management
- Ability to read and comprehend construction documents
- Demonstrated proficiency of math and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with good verbal and written communication while working in a team environment

Pay
Pay range: $21.37 – $32.05 per hour. The actual salary offer will vary by candidate based on specific skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
