Construction Project Manager - Industrial

About the role

My client is an established Midwest general contractor with over 80 years of experience. They are seeking a Project Manager to support its growing industrial construction business specializing in industrial, pharmaceutical, life sciences, and energy projects ranging from $500K to $25M+

Responsibilities

• Directs all construction activities from conception through close out.
• Leads project teams to ensure timely execution of all assigned tasks.
• Establishes project budgets and manages cost.
• Coaches, mentors, develops, and trains project management teams.
• Maintains knowledge of contract requirements and addresses complex obstacles.
• Maintains positive relationships with clients, owners, subcontractors, and design teams.
• Ensures all risk management controls are implemented.
• Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of construction industry experience.
• Industrial project experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
• A results-driven attitude with a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work both in office and on site.
