About the role
American Civil Constructors West Coast (ACCW) is seeking a Project Manager I or II in Benicia, CA to oversee projects from contract strategy to field execution. This role involves managing risk, leading teams, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage contract strategy and identify potential change orders, changes in scope, and changes in field conditions
- Maintain accurate cost accounting, schedule impacts, and change order logs
- Coordinate varying work schedules and crew mobilizations
- Work closely with project owners, prime contractors, inspectors, field engineers, field superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Project Manager I: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management. 3-5 years of construction-related experience.
- Project Manager II: Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management. 5+ years of construction-related experience.
Skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Primavera P6 knowledge is highly desired

Pay
- Project Manager I: $125,000-$150,000/year, commensurate with experience
- Project Manager II: $150,000-$170,000/year, commensurate with experience
Schedule
This role encompasses worksites throughout the United States and requires an average of 25% travel. A company vehicle and fuel card will be provided. Meals and lodging are provided for overnight travel.
