Construction Project Manager - Durham, NC

Responsibilities

• Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
• Develop a schedule for all phases of the build.
• Aid in obtaining permits, adhering to deadlines, and communicating any impacts to the schedule.
• Create and implement project-specific processes and procedures.
• Work alongside the Project Superintendent to manage, direct, and coordinate daily construction activities.
• Manage project costs through continuous evaluation of labor, materials, and equipment.
• Interact with various company departments to address issues.
• Act as the liaison between the client, the company, subcontractors, and government officials.
• Ensure compliance with all safety measures, procedures, and regulations.
• Guarantee substantial completion as per specifications.
• Assist in the submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals, and warranties for a seamless closeout process.

What It Takes

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry.
• Osha 30 Certification.
