About the role
A Construction Project Manager in the Western Burbs of Chicago for a $80M Commercial General Contractor, with no travel required, great benefits, bonus, and truck allowance.
Responsibilities
- Manage construction projects from start to finish
- Work closely with clients to understand project requirements and expectations
- Oversee the design, planning, and execution of construction projects
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to stay within budget and timeline
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders
- Handle any issues that arise during the construction process
Requirements
- 5+ years of ground up commercial construction experience
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations
- Experience with project management software
