Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent communication with all project stakeholders
- Develop detailed and accurate project budgets
- Provide financial management through project to ensure project financial goals are met
- Write subcontractor scopes of work and execute subcontract agreements
- Negotiate/execute change orders in a timely manner and keep project stakeholders apprised of changes to the project budget
- Review subcontractor/vendor invoices and create monthly pay applications
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors
- Develop and establish project schedule and milestones
- Work with project team to update project schedule weekly and work with subcontractors to ensure project milestones are being achieved
- Oversee submittal and RFI management
- Support project superintendent to ensure quality of work in place is up to project standards
- Understand applicable codes and regulatory requirements
- Understand OSHA safety requirements and enforce safety regulations on project
- Work with subcontractors to review project safety plans
- Collect necessary closeout information and compile/review with project stakeholders
- Manage warranty process
Requirements
- 4-year degree in construction engineering/construction management or equivalent relevant experience
- 3 years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- PREFERRED: Experience with scheduling software
- PREFERRED: Experience with project management software (Procore)
- PREFERRED: Experience with Microsoft Office
- PREFERRED: Passionate about process improvement and open to new ideas (AI, new technology, etc.)
