About the role
VeroTouch is a venture-backed construction technology company focusing on reimagining residential construction through advanced manufacturing, robotics, and traditional building expertise. The Construction Project Manager oversees project coordination, material management, and documentation, supporting a growing, complex construction operation.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple project schedules from concept through design, engineering, and construction, driving coordination across vendors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to ensure milestones are met.
- Partner with site supervisors and senior leadership to define material strategies, develop and execute lean just-in-time procurement schedules, and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead vendor negotiations and manage supplier relationships to secure favorable delivery terms and resolve discrepancies quickly.
- Support the design and ongoing improvement of inventory systems and material storage processes, applying best practices that enhance operational efficiency and scale.
- Maintain thorough documentation of procurement activity, delivery schedules, and project performance metrics.
- Develop and present clear status reports that surface risks, highlight opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Lead the creation and ongoing improvement of standard operating procedures that streamline material workflows and improve team consistency.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in construction project coordination, logistics management, or a related leadership role.
- Strong working knowledge of residential construction processes, with familiarity across multiple phases from pre-construction through closeout.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously, coordinating across cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Buildertrend, Procore, MS Project, or equivalent platforms, as well as ERP systems and data management tools.
- Experience building or improving operational systems, including automated spreadsheets, tracking databases, or procurement workflows.
- Solid foundation in project budgeting and basic accounting principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to align stakeholders and move work forward across teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Extensive experience, a proven work ethic, and a strong commitment to continuous learning.
- Experience: Progressive experience in construction project coordination, logistics management, or a related leadership role.
- Skills: Strong working knowledge of residential construction processes, proficiency with project management tools, and solid foundation in project budgeting and basic accounting principles.
- Preferred Experience: Hands-on building or field experience in residential construction, familiarity with lean, production-oriented, or just-in-time operating models, experience in manufacturing-adjacent, prefabricated, modular, or technology-enabled construction environments, comfort operating in early-stage or startup environments.
Pay
$105,000–$115,000 annual salary, commensurate with experience.
