About the role

STRUCTURAL is recruiting for a Senior Construction Project Manager to join our Hartford, CT team. This role involves managing complex construction projects that strengthen and extend the lifespan of structures. Key responsibilities include preparing contracts, managing schedules, overseeing finances, leading teams, and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex construction projects up to $5M - $15M in contract value
  • Prepare and negotiate project contracts
  • Develop and manage project schedules
  • Ensure project profitability and financial accuracy
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to project managers, field managers, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Collaborate with in-house estimators and sales teams to review bids and develop proposals
  • Evaluate risk and loss exposure on managed projects
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering, or related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in commercial construction and/or self-perform concrete repair/restoration
  • Experience managing projects involving structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade repair, and/or historic restoration
  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools
  • Strong leadership skills to train and mentor others
