Responsibilities

  • Covers all phases of design, programming, and construction of capital improvements projects.
  • Manages capital projects, including meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Maintains project budgets and reviews expenditures.
  • Administers consultant and construction contracts.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with construction contract requirements.
  • Applies professional skills and knowledge during construction.
  • Coordinates with local, state, and federal agencies.
  • Prepares and processes construction project and bid documents.
  • Enters and updates project information in the Unifier database.
  • Communicates with project managers and construction specialists.
  • Processes change orders and submits them for payment.
  • Reviews and processes purchase orders and uploads documents.
  • Drafts and processes requests for solicitations.
  • Reviews and processes construction contracts.
  • Tracks and reports construction project invoices.
  • Scans and provides data for reports.
  • Attends staff and training meetings.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related professional field.
  • 60 months of progressive professional experience in commercial or institutional design and construction.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant post-graduation experience in commercial/institutional construction administration.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant post-graduation experience in architectural or engineering project management.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or a related professional field. Will accept 60 months of related experience in lieu of the degree requirement.

Proficiency in related professional skills and knowledge.

Pay

Up to $80,000.00 based on education and experience.

Schedule
