About the role

The Construction Project Manager oversees all aspects of assigned construction projects and restoration crews. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Manage all phases of residential and commercial reconstruction projects to ensure on-time completion and budget adherence.
  • Estimating & Scoping: Develop detailed scopes of work and prepare accurate estimates utilizing industry-standard software.
  • Subcontractor Management: Identify, recruit, schedule, and manage external contractors and internal crews.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, property managers, and insurance adjusters, guiding them through the repair process.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all work complies with local building codes, permit requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Accurately document project milestones, contracts, change orders, and job site photos.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of residential/commercial construction management experience; previous restoration or insurance repair experience is heavily preferred.
  • Tech Skills: Proficiency in Xactimate and Microsoft Office.
  • Certifications: IICRC certifications (e.g., WRT, ASD) are a plus, but not required.

Position Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to climb ladders, work at varying heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.
