About the role
We help make your world a safer place. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from initial scoping through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of assigned construction projects, including pre-construction planning, execution, and closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Cook up and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Mind the project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues, delays, or cost overruns
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and company safety standards
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to leadership and clients
- Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Conduct site visits and inspections, including travel to project locations (~25%)
- Support procurement and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
- Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7+ years of experience in construction project management
- Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and teams
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel domestically (~25%)
- Must currently reside in the United States and be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, CCM, or OSHA 30 certification
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or critical infrastructure construction projects
- Familiarity with estimating and bid preparation
