Job Summary
PULLMAN is recruiting for a Project Manager to be based in their Pullman NYC office. This position is responsible for managing complex construction projects and self-performed repair and restoration projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex construction projects that strengthen and extend the lifespan of structures.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts, collaborating with internal contracts teams.
- Develop and manage project schedules with field leadership.
- Maintain profit and loss responsibility, including financial projections.
- Provide strong leadership and supervision to project teams and subcontractors.
- Work with in-house estimators and sales teams to review bids and develop proposals.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Demonstrate dedication to safety and quality control on all projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering, or related field.
- 5-12 years of relevant experience within the Commercial construction and/or restoration industry.
- Proven ability to manage projects ranging from $1 Million to $5 Million in contract value.
- Experience managing projects that include structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade repair, and/or historic restoration.
- Strong knowledge of computer-based programs such as Microsoft Office and project management and forecasting tools.
- Effective leadership skills to train and mentor others.
