About the role
PULLMAN is recruiting for a Project Manager to be based in our Boston office, located in Hudson, MA. The successful candidate will manage complex construction projects and self-performed repair and restoration projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex construction projects that strengthen and extend the lifespan of structures.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, collaborating with internal contracts teams.
- Develop and manage project schedules in collaboration with field leadership.
- Maintain profit and loss responsibility, including projections and other project financials.
- Provide strong leadership and supervision to project teams, including other Project Managers, Field Managers, Project Engineers, and field crews.
- Work with in-house Estimators and Sales teams to review bids and develop proposals.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Demonstrate dedication to safety and quality control on all projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil / Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-12 years of relevant experience within the Commercial construction and/or restoration industry.
- Demonstrated capability to successfully manage projects ranging from $1 Million to $5 Million in contract value.
- Previous experience managing projects that include structural concrete repair, waterproofing, façade repair, and/or historic restoration.
- Strong knowledge of computer-based programs, including Microsoft Office, and project management and forecasting tools.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively train and mentor others.
