About the role

The Project Manager at Milhaus is responsible for the budgeting, planning, scheduling, and buy-out of construction projects. They collaborate with various stakeholders including Owners, Development, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and other General Contractors/Construction Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and collaborate with Owners, Development, Project Engineers, Superintendents, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, and other General Contractors/Construction Managers.
  • Work closely with the Construction team, Development team, and Property Management team to ensure projects are delivered On Time and On Budget and are consistent with Milhaus standards.
  • Lead all aspects of a construction job, develop the schedule and budgets for the project, bid projects, aid with contracting, prepare cost estimates, and monitor safety standards.
  • Manage the design teams, create pre-qualification standards, and lead value engineering efforts.
  • Review project phases, document quality, mentor Assistant Project Manager(s), and assist in forecasting costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction related field.
  • Five to ten years proven experience in multi-family and/or commercial construction operations, including project management, scheduling, and estimating/budgeting.
  • Three to five years of experience implementing the pre-construction or estimating of complex construction projects.
  • Experience building and developing subcontractor relationships.
  • Field management experience and/or constructability understanding.
  • Knowledge of Milhaus’s services and processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of various operating systems, software products (e.g. MS Office, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
