Construction Project Manager

About the role
The title is Project Manager. The real job is owning the outcome from kickoff to closeout. Your Day-to-Day includes leading projects end-to-end, taking full ownership of commercial projects from kickoff through closeout, driving execution against schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks—no exceptions, anticipating risk before it becomes a problem and making decisions that protect the project, building and aligning your team, partnering closely with superintendents, owners, architects, and internal teams to keep everyone moving in the same direction, managing contracts, cost controls, documentation, and reporting with precision, holding stakeholders accountable and communicating proactively—no surprises, growing the business, strengthening client relationships that drive repeat work and long-term partnerships, representing MCL in the community and contributing to a culture others want to be part of.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects end-to-end
- Take full ownership of commercial projects from kickoff through closeout
- Drive execution against schedule, budget, and quality benchmarks—no exceptions
- Anticipate risk before it becomes a problem and make decisions that protect the project
- Build and align your team
- Partner closely with superintendents, owners, architects, and internal teams to keep everyone moving in the same direction
- Manage contracts, cost controls, documentation, and reporting with precision

- Grow the business
- Strengthen client relationships that drive repeat work and long-term partnerships

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural preferred)
- 8+ years of commercial construction experience, with 3+ years in a Project Manager role
- Experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects a strong plus
- Strong command of budgets, contracts, and project controls
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Experience with GMP and CMAR delivery methods is a strong plus
