Construction Project Manager

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and life sciences industry, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their Facilities Management department supporting ongoing projects and contractor oversight.

About the role

Provide comprehensive project management support throughout the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction coordination, execution, and project closeout. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and in compliance with site requirements. Review and manage project-related documentation, including SOPs, engineering drawings, specifications, and training materials. Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering Specialists, and Document Control to facilitate timely project execution and document management. Coordinate with Facilities Maintenance to support project logistics, scheduling, and site readiness, ensuring seamless integration with ongoing facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities maintenance contractors and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Engage effectively with client-facing teams using strong communication skills.
• Review and manage project-related documentation (SOPs, engineering drawings, specifications, training materials).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Facilities, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Document Control).
• Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and site readiness with Facilities Maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience in facilities management within life science or manufacturing environments (preferred).
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and related tasks (advantageous).
• Ability to oversee onboarding of new contractors and manage existing contractor relationships.

$55 to $60 per hour
