About the role
The Project Manager will plan, coordinate, and deliver healthcare projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of healthcare construction requirements, infection control protocols, regulatory compliance, and working within occupied medical facilities.
Responsibilities
- Manage healthcare construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and staffing strategies
- Lead coordination efforts among owners, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field teams
- Oversee project financial performance, forecasting, change management, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, life safety requirements, and infection control standards
- Coordinate construction activities within occupied healthcare environments
- Manage permitting, inspections, commissioning, and turnover processes
- Lead OAC meetings and provide regular updates to ownership and executive leadership
- Ensure quality standards, safety requirements, and project milestones are achieved
- Mentor project engineers and assistant project managers
Requirements
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
- Healthcare construction experience required
- Proven success managing hospital, medical office, clinic, laboratory, or healthcare facility projects
- Strong understanding of ICRA, OSHPD/HCAI (if applicable), JCAHO, NFPA, and healthcare compliance requirements
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex project schedules
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or related software
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing projects ranging from $5M–$100M+
- Healthcare-specific project portfolio within active medical facilities
Pay
$125,000 – $165,000 per year
