Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery for office building and financial centre construction initiatives, ensuring alignment with client objectives and organizational standards
- Develop and manage comprehensive project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants to maintain project momentum and quality
- Serve as the primary client point of contact, building trusted relationships and providing innovative solutions to conflicting priorities
- Oversee contract negotiations, procurement processes, and vendor management to optimize project outcomes
- Monitor construction progress through regular site visits, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate strategic decision-making by analysing project data, preparing detailed reports, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders
- Champion best practices and cultural initiatives that strengthen team performance and drive continuous improvement
- Leverage emerging technologies and project management tools to enhance efficiency and deliver measurable value
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in project management or construction management with demonstrated success leading complex projects (e.g., retail financial centres, office workspaces)
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or a combination of relevant work experience, education, or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced, high-volume environments while meeting critical deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels and with external clients
- Proficiency in project management technology tools and platforms (e.g., Clarion, Microsoft Project, MS Office suite)
- Demonstrated track record of acting decisively, thinking strategically, and delivering measurable results
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to navigate conflicting priorities with innovative solutions
Preferred qualifications
- Direct experience managing office building and financial centre construction projects from inception through completion
- Professional certification such as PMP, CCM, LEED AP, or equivalent industry credential
- Experience implementing new technologies or digital tools to improve project delivery and client outcomes
