As a Project Manager in our Manhattan, NY office, you will join a collaborative team working on projects that enhance the lives of K-12 students. You will work with clients, Jacobs project team members, and subconsultant staff to ensure the successful delivery of active projects. Your role includes contract management oversight, resolving complex project-related issues, and ensuring project progress, technical performance, task management, schedule, cost, scope, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Manage and provide contract management oversight for active projects.
- Facilitate resolution of complex project-related issues.
- Ensure project progress, technical performance, task management, schedule, cost, scope, and safety.
- Interpret contract documents such as specifications and shop drawings.
- Display leadership and resolve critical issues pertinent to projects and clients.
- Work on new and renovation construction projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a Construction-related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a technical specialist in construction and design, with 4+ years managing all phases of construction or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- Driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with K-12 building construction and renovation projects.
- Experience with Job Order Contracts (JOCs).

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $120,000.00 to $155,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.
