About the role
Based at our client's sites in the Albany area, you will report directly to the Sr. Project Manager and will work alongside other project team members focusing on project in the conception to close out phase.
Responsibilities
- Manage various projects using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client's facility
- Have a full working knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor's payment application
- Provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects
- Manage 4-5 projects using established controls/procedures
- Commit to supporting and engaging with Global Integrated Delivery (GID) teammates
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of construction with projected valued above 5 million dollars
- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship building
- Must be able to manage 4-5 projects using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Work will require access to secure facilities and employment will require a background check
Qualifications
- Related education, in the form of college credit or degree, or professional certification may be acceptable as partial or fulfillment of experience
Preferred Skills
- Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification
- Related education, in the form of college credit or degree, or professional certification may be accepted as partial fulfillment of experience years at the director's discretion
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $100,000.00 to $120,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
