Construction Project Manager

This is a primarily office-based role focused on retail construction in active store environments, best suited for candidates with experience managing projects through construction and execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage convenience store remodels and capital projects from planning through completion, primarily from an office setting
• Coordinate contractors, budgets, and timelines while ensuring projects stay on track and meet company standards
• Manage multiple retail remodel projects across several states
• Create and review scopes, drawings, budgets, and schedules
• Bid projects and select contractors and vendors
• Track costs, approve invoices, and manage change orders
• Ensure timelines, quality, and design standards are met
• Coordinate work in active retail store environments
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and operations
• Conduct occasional site visits as needed

Requirements

• 2–5 years of commercial construction project management experience
• Experience with retail or multi-site remodels
• Experience working in occupied commercial environments
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
• PMP or OSHA certification (preferred)

Pay

$75,000–$82,000 annually

Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel occasionally for site visits
• Ability to walk job sites and stand for extended periods when needed
