About the role

Corenic Construction Group is seeking a Project Manager for their Operations department. This role involves overall direction of construction projects and being a key member of the Operations/Project Management Department.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
  • Manage schedule, determine project objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Complete buyout of subcontractors and vendors.
  • Initiate and maintain liaison with client, architect and/or engineer.
  • Provide technical assistance with interpretation of drawings, methods and equipment needed.
  • Represent company in project meetings.
  • Prepare and submit monthly job status reports that outline project priorities and issues.
  • Thoroughly understand corporate and industry practices.
  • Responsible for client satisfaction.
  • Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • 5+ years of experience managing other project managers/staff.
  • Prior experience with small base building (including banks, retail) and commercial base building.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to problem solve quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated experience with consistently maintaining project related paperwork.
