Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle from bidding and estimating through execution and closeout
- Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects
- Oversee multiple commercial construction projects ranging from smaller service work to multimillion-dollar projects
- Conduct jobsite visits, evaluate project requirements, complete takeoffs, and prepare estimates
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, documentation, and deadlines
- Cookordination with field leads, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Prepare customer change orders and process subcontractor change orders
- Maintain accurate and timely project data in BuildOps
- Review and approve vendor and subcontractor invoices in partnership with the finance team
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and resolve issues before they affect delivery
- Divide time between the office and project sites throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area
Requirements
- 5–10 years of commercial construction project management experience with a general contractor
- Experience managing projects from bid through closeout
- Strong estimating and takeoff experience
- Exceptional organization, time management, and prioritization skills
- Able to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and strict deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence working directly with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, including formulas
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn and consistently use construction management software
- Able to work on-site five days per week and travel to local project sites
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- BuildOps or Procore experience preferred
