About the role
As a Construction Project Manager at Ben Hardy & Company, you will lead high-end custom residential projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the design intent.
Responsibilities
- Lead high-end custom residential projects from pre-construction through closeout, delivering on time, on budget, and to the design intent.
- Develop and manage detailed project budgets, schedules, and work plans, proactively identifying risks and adjustments needed to keep projects on track.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project.
- Review drawings, specifications, and contracts to confirm constructability and compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Oversee day-to-day project execution, including change orders, documentation, reporting, and guidance to project teams to maintain quality, safety, and craftsmanship.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing high-end custom residential construction projects in the San Francisco Bay Area, with strong knowledge of residential building techniques, materials, and methods.
- Existing relationships with Bay Area architects or a proven track record of building strong, collaborative partnerships with architecture and interior design teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors in a clear, respectful way.
- Proficiency with project management tools, including Microsoft Office Suite and Procore, and the ability to analyze budgets, schedules, and project data to drive decisions.
