Construction Project Manager

About the role

Join Our Team as a Construction Project Manager, overseeing multiple fast-paced projects with precision and expertise. Supervise construction execution in line with contracts, policies, and standards, while optimizing resources and ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to OSHA regulations. Conduct site inspections, maintain financials and schedules, and ensure compliance with AutoZone Specifications and Standards. Drive impactful results through effective decision-making, communication, and meticulous reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously
• Critical decision making is a daily part of the role
• Travel to sites and perform site inspections for quality and schedule adherence
• Maintain daily reporting and communication on project key metrics and project difficulties
• Day to day knowledge and updating of project financials and schedules
• Quality Assurance: Site Inspections completed on all projects
• Onsite confirmation of AutoZone Specifications and Standards
• Onsite confirmation of dimensions and elevations included in Construction Documents
• Ongoing verification and adherence to OSHA 30 safety regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Civil Engineering or equivalent years’ experience required
• Minimum of four to seven years of experience in construction project management required
• Must be able to travel 3 days per week
• Demonstrated experience negotiating and facilitating change orders requests
• Demonstrated history of adhering to organizational policies and procedures required
• Demonstrated experience coaching and influencing contractors to desired results

Qualifications

• PREFERRED: Retail industry knowledge
• PREFERRED: PMP certificate
