Construction Project Manager

Join a fast-growing subcontractor firm with over $25M in active backlog and lead high-visibility interior fit-out projects from start to finish. This is an immediate need for someone ready to tackle challenging projects.

About the role

• Oversee 5–12 commercial fit-out jobs at once, typically $100K–$1M in value.
• Run full project lifecycle — lead planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout to meet quality and timeline goals.
• Work daily with clients, designers, subs, and vendors to keep scope aligned.
• Track timelines, costs, and progress to ensure projects stay on target.
• Handle RFIs, change orders, and submittals with accuracy and timely communication.
• Monitor progress, verify quality, and ensure safety and code compliance through regular site visits.
• Spot delays or issues early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and resources are ordered and delivered on schedule.
• Provide clear updates on milestones, risks, and next steps to all stakeholders in project meetings.
• Serve as the main point of contact and deliver strong customer service throughout each project.

This is a Contract to Hire, fully onsite position based in Raritan, NJ.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88 per hour.
