About the Role

Join a fast-growing subcontractor firm with over $25M in active backlog and lead high-visibility interior fit-out projects from start to finish. This is an immediate need for an experienced Construction Project Manager ready to tackle challenging projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage 5–12 commercial interior fit-out projects at once, typically valued at $100K–$1M.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout to meet quality and timeline goals.
  • Coordinate daily with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to align scope and expectations.
  • Maintain project schedules and budgets by tracking timelines, costs, and progress.
  • Manage documentation, including RFIs, change orders, and submittals with accuracy and timely communication.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify quality, and ensure safety and code compliance.
  • Identify risks early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Lead project meetings, providing clear updates on milestones, risks, and next steps.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, delivering strong customer service throughout each project.

Requirements

This is a Contract to Hire position based in Flemington, NJ, and is fully onsite.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $52.88 per hour. Individual compensation within this range will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
