Construction Project Management Specialist (supporting NASA, U.S. Navy)

Responsibilities

• Manage/support All Task Order Projects
• Facilitate task orders issued by the Government
• Cookinate contractors and on-site tradesmen and ensure compliance with GSFC mandates and specifications
• Communicate with system owners, building managers, occupants, and manage system outages
• Maintain control of task orders, subcontracts, budget, and oversee project expenditures
• Lead prebid job walks with potential bidders and collaborate with procurement on subcontract scope of work
• Participate in weekly performance meetings with upper management

Requirements

• Experience in electrical and mechanical systems, installation, and code
• Experience and knowledge of outage & LOTO processes, electrical coordination with other trades
• Experience in reviewing, modifying drawings

Qualifications

• Minimum of 0-2 years of experience in a related or applicable field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

The salary offered will depend on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal equity, business needs, and other factors permitted by law. Posted pay ranges are a general guideline only and are not a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Schedule

This is an onsite position at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility, Wallops Island, VA.
