Construction Project Executive
About the role
The Construction Project Executive – Healthcare will lead business development and project delivery for major healthcare construction projects throughout the Greater Boston region. This senior leadership role requires a professional with a strong track record of selling, developing, and successfully delivering complex healthcare facilities, including hospitals, ambulatory care centers, medical office buildings, and related clinical environments.
Responsibilities
- Complete accountability and direction for entire project, from pre-construction phase to completion and is the primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
- Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
- Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to pre-construction budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
- Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Requirements
- BA/BS Engineering, Construction Management or similar curriculum and 12 years of experience in construction or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 4 years of leadership.
- Experience in healthcare, hospital, ambulatory care construction sectors.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in the field of hospital, medical, ambulatory care construction projects.
- Experience in commercial construction business development in the related field.
- Experience from a large general contractor on projects of all sizes up and up to 100MM.
- Prior experience developing teams for the successful completion of construction projects including preconstruction, scheduling, sequencing through close-out.
- Demonstrated experience selling and delivering healthcare construction projects.
- Strong relationships within the Boston/New England healthcare construction market.
