About the role

Position: Project Estimator
Reports to: Program Executive
Location: Port Washington, Wisconsin

Responsibilities

  • Interpret drawings and read project specifications
  • Review RFIs, bulletins, and field directives to identify scope changes
  • Perform quantity takeoffs based on updated drawings and field conditions
  • Develop scopes of work for change orders, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor requirements
  • Support change order pricing using labor units, historical data, and field-verified productivity
  • Coordinate with field teams to validate installation methods and production rates
  • Track and document change events from identification through resolution
  • Maintain an up-to-date change order log, including pending, approved, and disputed items
  • Prepare clear and organized cost backup for change order submissions
  • Assist in identifying schedule impacts related to scope changes
  • Support time-and-material (T&M) tracking, including field tickets and installed quantities
  • Collaborate with project management and Tri-Venture partners to ensure alignment

Your Expertise

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Project Estimator in construction, contracting, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods, and industry standards
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar)
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Construction Systems Management or a related field (bonus)

Pay

$100,000 – $140,000 per year (market location, experience, skills, and education considered)
