Construction Project Engineer

About the Role

Join RQ Construction, LLC as a full‑time Construction Project Engineer stationed onsite at U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This position offers hands‑on experience across the full construction process, supporting commercial projects from start to finish while collaborating with Project Management, Safety, Quality, and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project schedules, documentation, and workflows to maintain efficient progress.
• Assist in tracking project milestones and ensuring work meets high quality standards.
• Collaborate with field teams to address on‑site issues and keep construction activities on track.
• Support communication between project stakeholders, including safety and quality personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience and training).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and internet tools.
• Experience or familiarity with construction software such as Primavera 3/6, Autodesk, BIM, Revit, and Oracle.
• LEED credential is desirable.

Location

The role is based at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Candidates must be willing to relocate and will receive company‑provided housing for themselves and dependents, a company vehicle, and covered utilities.

Pay

Competitive annual salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000.
