Construction Project Engineer
About the role
We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team in Dallas, TX. Your role analyzes client needs and assists contractor in interpretation of plans and specifications.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepares change orders and/or supplemental agreements and updates project plans.
- Monitors construction progress and maintains daily records.
- Monitors and records material quantities and construction results.
- Reviews shop drawings, schedules, permits, and progress charts.
- Prepares final estimate package which includes final plans, construction documents and detailed calculations of costs and pay items.
- Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary
Experience working with TXDOT is preferred.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent, plus seven years' experience. With Associated degree, fifteen years of related experience.
- Experience in CPM scheduling techniques.
- TXDOT experience preferred.
- PE Required

Expected compensation range is between $100,000 - $120,000 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
