We are a reputable general contractor in Seattle, WA, seeking a Project Engineer to support a large healthcare project.
About the role
The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager with planning and daily execution of projects. They maintain aspects of the project schedule, manage submittal approvals, coordinate material deliveries, and ensure projects are completed with quality, profitability, and compliance with our Safety/Zero Harm culture.
Responsibilities
- Manage project financial responsibilities
- Support preconstruction services
- Assist with project start-up and scheduling
- Process RFIs and change orders
- Handle submittals
- Coordinate project administration and close-out
- Promote customer relations
- Support culture, leadership, and employee development
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a construction project engineer with a general contractor
- Experience processing RFIs, submittals, and coordinating between multiple trades and subcontractors
- Experience with Procore and Bluebeam (preferred)
- Experience working with MEP trades on healthcare projects (highly preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering
- Comfortable submitting to a drug test (including THC) upon onboarding

Pay
- Project Engineer: $85,000 – $90,000/year
- Senior Project Engineer: $90,000 – $97,500/year
- Assistant/Associate Project Manager: $97,500 – $110,000/year
