Let's extract content.
Intro paragraph: "Your Job DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Construction Performance Engineer to drive data-informed decision making across utility-scale solar construction projects. This role plays a critical part in improving project outcomes by delivering actionable insights into productivity, cost, and schedule performance-enabling field teams to proactively address risks and optimize execution across the jobsite."
Potential Locations: Georgia, Kentucky, Nebraska.
Travel Requirements: full-time, site-based position that includes daily per diem and monthly home rotations. Not eligible for VISA Sponsorship.
Location subject to change depending on business needs.
Our Team: join Project Controls and Scheduling team within Project and Construction Management organization. Partners closely with field construction teams to provide visibility into project performance, enabling better decisions that improve productivity, schedule adherence, and overall project outcomes.
Who We Are: As a Koch Engineered Solutions company, DEPCOM Power is a leading energy solutions partner for the utility solar and broader energy industries, providing project development support, engineering, procurement and construction, energy storage, repowering and operations and maintenance services. Our highly skilled team of conventional and renewable power industry experts work to deliver the lowest cost of energy and the highest rate of return. At Koch, employees are empowered to do what they do best to make life better. Learn how our business philosophy helps employees unleash their potential while creating value for themselves and the company.
We could incorporate that into About the role.
Now Responsibilities (What You Will Do):
- Analyze construction performance data to identify productivity trends, risks, and opportunities across utility-scale solar projects.
- Develop and deliver actionable reporting and dashboards that provide real-time visibility into installation progress, productivity, labor performance, and project execution.
- Track labor productivity, installation rates, labor costs, and workforce utilization across subcontracted and self-perform scopes to support informed decision-making.
- Ensure accurate labor charging, timekeeping, progress tracking, and project data integrity to strengthen cost and performance visibility.
- Build forecasts and predictive analytics that identify emerging schedule, productivity, staffing, and cost risks, enabling proactive mitigation.
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to evaluate cost and schedule performance and support project controls activities.
- Conduct time studies, workflow assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives to identify inefficiencies and drive productivity gains.
- Partner with project management, construction, field engineering, and project controls teams to improve forecasting accuracy, reporting quality, and operational transparency.
- Train and coach field personnel on productivity measurement, reporting tools, and performance management best practices.
- Standardize performance reporting processes and best practices to drive consistency, scalability, and continuous improvement across projects.
Now Requirements (Basic Qualifications):
- Experience in construction, project controls, estimating, scheduling, or project management within industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects
- Experience performing data analysis using Microsoft Excel or similar tools (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, or data summarization techniques)
- Experience interpreting construction or project data (e.g., productivity, labor hours, installation rates, or quantities) to support decision making
- Valid U.S. driver's license
Now Qualifications (What Will Put You Ahead):
- Background in utility-scale construction or renewable energy projects, including field-based roles (e.g., Field Engineer, Superintendent, Project Engineer)
- Experience applying Earned Value Management (EVM) and developing forecasting models or predictive analytics to identify schedule, productivity, and cost risks
- Experience using construction or project controls software (e.g., Procore, P6, Power BI, SmartSheet, InEight)
- Experience leveraging data to drive process improvements, performance optimization, and better project outcomes
Now Skills: Could combine some of the above: Microsoft Excel, data analysis, EVM, forecasting, construction software (Procore, P6, Power BI, SmartSheet, InEight), data-driven process improvement, etc. But we might avoid duplication; maybe we don't need separate Skills if we already have Requirements and Qualifications. However instruction: we can include Skills section if we have real specific content. We could extract skill keywords: Microsoft Excel, data analysis, EVM, forecasting, Procore, P6, Power BI, SmartSheet, InEight, process improvement, etc. But we risk duplication. Perhaps better to not include Skills section, as we already have Requirements and Qualifications covering skills. But we need to follow instruction: "Prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones." So we could omit Skills if not needed.
Benefits: list:
- medical, dental, vision, flexible spending and health savings accounts, life insurance, ADD, disability, retirement, paid vacation/time off, educational assistance, and may also include infertility assistance, paid parental leave and adoption assistance.
We need to preserve that exactly.
Pay: compensation range: $80,000 - $115,000 (flexible based on experience)
Schedule: full-time, site-based position that includes daily per diem and monthly home rotations. Location subject to change depending on business needs. Travel Requirements: This is a full-time, site-based position that includes daily per diem and monthly home rotations. This position is not eligible for VISA Sponsorship.

Check for any duplicated content: Ensure we didn't miss any substantive info like "Current Project Site Opportunities Potential Locations: Georgia, Kentucky, Nebraska". We included location in About the role.
Also "Our Team" description included.
Now ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like "At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs..." etc. We omitted that.
Check for any mention of "Hiring Philosophy", "Who We Are" we included company description in About the role. That's okay.
Now verify we didn't include any EEO/equal-opportunity boilerplate: we omitted the Equal Opportunities section.
Now ensure we didn't include any application instructions: we omitted "If you have questions, please speak to your recruiter..." etc. Those are in benefits and compensation sections? Actually there were lines: "If you have questions, please speak to your recruiter about the flexibility and detail of our compensation philosophy." That's under compensation philosophy; we should omit as it's application instruction? It's not exactly application instruction but it's a recruiter note. The instruction says remove application instructions. That line is more about compensation philosophy; but it's a directive to speak to recruiter. Safer to omit.
Also "If you have questions on what benefits apply to you, please speak to your recruiter." under benefits; we should omit.
Also "Learn more about our hiring philosophy here ." omitted.
