Position Profile
This position will be responsible for observation and documentation of airport paving, drainage, utility, lighting, structural and site development during construction. Projects could also include highways, local roads, bridges, and earthen structures.
What We're Looking For
- Education/Experience
- A High School Diploma/equivalent
- A minimum of 2 years of roadway or airport construction experience
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in an airport environment preferred; but experience with other infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, earth structures) would apply as well.
- IDOT Construction Technician courses: Documentation of Contracts and Quantities, 3-Day Aggregate, PCC Level I and II, HMA Level I and IINASSCO Certification preferred
- Possession or ability to obtain the following certifications: ITCP-CIPP, PACP|LACP|MACP
- Department of Transportation project experience (IL preferred) and familiarity with the respective agency documentation and material testing certifications
