Responsibilities
- Perform construction observation in the field for designated projects as assigned.
- Conduct testing of construction materials (i.e., concrete, soil, aggregate) at construction sites and in the laboratory.
- Equipment: Responsible for the maintenance, cleanliness, upkeep, calibrations, and safe working condition of equipment.
- Data and Reporting: Demonstrate excellent documentation skills while testing. Utilize basic math and critical thinking skills to analyze and resolve problems.
- Schedule Flexibility: Generally, work standard hours, but maintain flexibility for task-oriented requirements, including seasonal overtime and weekends during busy construction seasons.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma or at least 2+ years of construction experience preferred.
- Candidate must have an aptitude for basic math, good time management, and ability to work with spreadsheets and scheduling programs.
- Physical requirements of certain job duties require candidate capable of lifting up to 80 lbs., walking at least 5 miles daily, and working in varying weather conditions.
Salary Range
