Construction Natural Gas Superintendent

Position Summary

My client is a leading heavy civil contractor specializing in paving, utility, and site construction throughout the Northeast. We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our growing Natural Gas Division. Job Duties

• Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with clients, inspectors, and project teams to maintain effective communication over the course of a project.
• Direct, supervise, and manage field crews and subcontractors.
• Act as the main point of contact between project managers, engineers, architects, and on-site teams.
• Order and manage construction materials and equipment as needed.
• Review, interpret, and analyze construction project plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Attend key planning and construction meetings with management and key stakeholders.
• Implement cost-effective management techniques.
• Overall Quality Control for the project.
• Active involvement in bid meetings and production discussions.

Job Requirements

• Construction and underground utility experience a plus.
• Minimum 5 years work experience in construction management or another similar role.
• Experience Working On Natural Gas Distribution Systems Is Preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, detail oriented, and a team player.
• Ability to interface with construction software applications, experience with HCSS a plus.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and familiarity with construction and project management software programs a plus.
