Job Description

The On-site Construction Monitoring Resident Inspector’s main responsibility is to help the corresponding On-Site Supervisors in monitoring the EPC Contractor’s civil, structural, and electrical work according to Client's target for Project Budget-Schedule-Quality bounds. This position is part of the TYPSA’s Construction Monitoring Group assigned to the project, in TYPSA’s role as On-Site Owner’s Representatives.

  • Construction and materials logistics surveillance
  • QA/QC inspection during construction activities
  • H&S&S/Environmental surveillance
  • Commissioning supervision

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent with nine (9) years in construction supervision and inspection of large infrastructures
  • Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related field with five (5) years in construction supervision and inspection of large infrastructures
  • Mid-level user skills with Microsoft Office suite/Teams software
  • Familiar with the ‘Procore’ document management software
  • Experience with large-scale renewable energy projects is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Must be a good communicator and team player
  • Demonstrate ability to provide excellent client service
  • Valid Driver's License, with the ability to maintain insurability under the company's insurance carrier

Working Conditions and Environment

Will need the ability to establish rapport quickly with others working on the same project, and be able to promote a positive team environment. Working knowledge of dealing with a diverse population while using tact, diplomacy, and respect.
