Construction Materials Testing Technician

About the role

Kleinfelder's Redmond, WA office is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction observation and materials testing on various projects to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
• Must have 1+ year of soil and concrete testing experience.
• Must hold ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade 1 certification.
• Must have radiation safety training for the operation of a nuclear density gauge.
• Desired certifications include ICC certifications.
• Must demonstrate strong initiative, teamwork, organizational, and communication skills.
• Must be proficient in using a computer and have a general knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and photo management software.
• Must be willing to travel throughout Washington.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and/or Live Scan fingerprinting based on specific project requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Proficiency in using a computer and MS Office.
• Ability to learn and grow with technological demands.
• Willingness to travel throughout Washington.

Pay

The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunity Act. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Hourly range: $21.09 - $35.22.
