Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Technician III

About the role

Kleinfelder, a Forbes' Top Employer for Engineers in North America, is seeking an Experienced Laboratory Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team. We provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory, to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications and geotechnical engineering purposes.
• Review testing data for accuracy and specification compliance.
• Must be detail oriented.
• May be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.

Requirements

• Strong initiative.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Own vehicle.
• General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Willingness to travel locally as required to fulfill project assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Certifications (or ability to obtain): ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician - Grade I, Texas DOT Certification Soils, Aggregates, and / or Asphalt ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician, ACI Aggregate Testing Technician, ACI Lab Testing Technician, Texas DOT Certifications: 1B, SB 101, SB 201, SB 202.
