Construction Materials Testing Laboratory Technician
About the role
Kleinfelder, a Forbes' Top Employer for Engineers in North America, seeks a Construction Materials and Geotechnical Testing Laboratory Technician to join our Irving (DFW) TX office. Our team develops and maintains America's infrastructure and supply chain, and we are a recognized industry leader with more than 25 accredited laboratories.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine to complex testing for construction materials and geotechnical testing in the laboratory
- Verify conformance to standards and specifications
- Follow proper procedures and standards
- Perform daily routine testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples
- Accurately compute results
- Maintain cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, etc.
Requirements
- ACI Concrete Compression Strength Technician - Level 1 Certification
- NICET - Level I (Soils and/or Construction Materials Testing) Certification
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of construction materials laboratory testing experience
