Construction Materials Project Manager-Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction materials projects or related roles.
- Ability to read and comprehend plans and specifications.
- Experience performing ICC Special Investigations.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials testing methods, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with small to large, complex construction and/or heavy highway projects.
- Proven experience with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician certification.
- ICC certification.
- NICET (Level II is preferred).
- EIT or PE is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Work with project designers and clients to ensure that client specifications are followed.
- Perform routine to complex inspections and testing of construction materials in the field.
- Review daily reports on observation activities and test data for accuracy and completeness.
- Track project budgets and prepare invoices.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality materials that meet project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare proposals and deliver to clients.
- Manage schedules, budgets, and resources related to material acquisition and testing activities.
- Oversee quality control processes, including laboratory testing and field inspections, to ensure material compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and contractors to address material-related challenges and optimize project outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and industry standards throughout the material management lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
