Construction Materials Laboratory Technician

About the role

Kleinfelder's Mechanicsburg, PA office is seeking a Laboratory Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our team. We provide construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of local and national clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex testing of construction materials in the laboratory
• Verify conformance to construction plans and specifications
• Support geotechnical engineering purposes
• Test soils, asphalt, aggregates, and concrete materials
• Must be detail-oriented
• May be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Own vehicle required
• General knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
• Must be able to use a computer
• Must be detail-oriented
• Must be willing to travel locally as required to fulfill local project assignments

Qualifications

• Preferred Certifications (or ability to obtain): ACI Concrete Strength Testing Technician - Grade I, ACI Aggregate Testing Technician, ACI Aggregate Base Testing Technician
