Responsibilities

• Data entry and data collection
• Digital filing
• Professional communication
• Processing field data, including utility locates, measurements, and compliance documents
• Reading and understanding underground utility prints
• Reading utility maps, including GIS (Geographic Information System Mapping Technology)
• Creating billing/mapping rough sketch forms for individual premises to be used by field crews
• Maintaining constant contact with field crews to ensure accuracy of information
• Coordinating with in-house sewer locators to assure public safety
• On-site measuring and documenting of installed utilities in the field
• Creating paper maps documenting utilities as they are installed
• Creating complete As-Builts documenting work completed
• Reading sewer As-Builts to guarantee no conflict with installed utilities and customer compliance
• Understanding customer billing codes
• Processing mapping, billing, and material information from the field using Excel
• Data backup using Egnyte
• Acting as liaison between customers and field crews on all mapping issues
• Various other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in English
• Construction background preferred
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Products
• Reliable and punctual
• Extreme attention to detail
• Courteous, respectful, and composed professionalism
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
• Ability to multi-task
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize time efficiently and consistently meet or exceed deadlines

Pay

$22–$26 per hour (DOE)
