Construction Manager II

About the role

The Construction Manager II (CM2) position requires 2-6 years of field experience in construction or construction management. The ideal candidate must be proficient in reading plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction inspection and management duties on assigned projects.
• Lead project inspections on multiple projects and direct inspectors and field staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and engineers.
• Complete daily construction reports and other assigned documentation.
• Aid the Construction Manager as needed.
• Understand budgets and cost assignments.
• Attend required training such as OSHA, ACI, etc.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited college, or equivalent experience.
• EIT (Engineer in Training) or CMIT (Construction Management Intern) certification from the appropriate state agency, or the ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft programs and other assigned software.
• Willingness to travel.
